A 'scared and traumatised' cat has been rescued after it was trapped in a house for around three weeks following the death of its owner.
The RSPCA said it was unaware of Noel the cat's existence when an inspector first visited the house in Ashby in November.

Ashby de la Zouch Town Council will be working with the National Forest to make the town better known when it comes to attracting visitors to the region.
At a meeting on Monday night, councillors argued that there are currently not enough signs directing visitors to the town.

Ashby's Field Sport UK is hosting a half term holiday club for children featuring kids' activity days.
Simon Musson started working at Fishers in 1970 and is still working as a Consultant.
Simon's Father is William Henry Musson, who worked as a Solicitor from 1946 until 1980 at Fishers.

A new rural crime team is being piloted in North West Leicestershire.
Working as a team of three, comprising Sergeant Linsey Booth, PC Emma Holmes, and PCSO Tony Gallagher will work alongside neighbouring forces, as well the National Farmers' Union (NFU) to tackle rural crime including agricultural, equine, wildlife and heritage.
