They are advertising for new staff and is officially undergoing refurbishment in preparation of its reopening in mid-March,

The post reads: "We are honoured to have been given the opportunity of adding The Belper Arms to our portfolio of pub restaurants and will be bringing with us our impeccable reputation and delicious menu from the newly reopened The Bulls Head (Abbots Oak - Coalville).

"In light of this we are looking for experienced, reliable staff. The following job vacancies are available:

  • Bar staff
  • Front of house/ waiting on staff
  • Kitchen staff
  • Sous chef

The pub, which dates back to the 13th century, cloud in December with its owners Star Pubs and Bars saying 'the temporary operator left at very short notice in October'.

The Belper Arms closed its doors 13 months ago after the cellar flooded, before re-opening only to close again.

But the pub, which is seen as a key part of the community, looks set to be serving thirsty customers again within weeks.
