13th Feb 2020 | Local News

Traffic in Ashby town centre will be disrupted from this Sunday for up to a week.

There will be a southbound one way road closure of Bath Street between Kilwardby Street and South Street.

A diversion route is planned from Market Street, through Lower Church Street and South Street.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to the closure to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out investigations and repairs.

The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Also, from Monday for five days, there will be a footpath closure between between Rouen Way and The Callis alongside Ashby C of E School.

This is so that Cadent Gas can carry out infrastructure maintenance.

Ashby Town Council has posted full information on its Twitter account.
