An Appleby Magna-based business is looking to expand its team with multiple different job opportunities.
Saffron Catering is recruiting a Head Chef, a Food Truck Sales Driver and casual staff to help meet demand across its catering operations.
The business, run by Ashby-based couple Carla and Stacey Garey, has continued to grow in recent years, providing catering for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events across the Midlands.
Alongside its event catering operation, Saffron also runs a fleet of food trucks serving workplaces, communities and events.
The company has previously announced expansion plans and investment in its premises to support its growing operations and create further local employment opportunities.
Head Chef
Saffron Catering is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead its kitchen team at Appleby Magna.
The full-time position involves overseeing day-to-day kitchen production, managing staff workloads, ordering supplies and maintaining food quality and safety standards.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for stock control, food costs, minimising waste and working alongside the events and operations teams to ensure catering orders are delivered to the required standard.
Applicants should have experience leading a team in a busy kitchen, strong organisational skills and a good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
The role offers five working days out of seven, with training and development opportunities, employee discounts and a varied calendar of events.
Food Truck Sales Driver
The business is also recruiting a full-time Food Truck Sales Driver, offering a salary of £26,500 a year, plus commission based on sales performance.
The role involves driving a company van along an established route, visiting offices, industrial sites and other businesses to sell freshly prepared sandwiches, snacks and drinks.
The successful candidate will build relationships with regular customers, promote products, manage stock and process payments.
Saffron is looking for someone with a full, clean manual driving licence who enjoys customer service and can work independently.
Applicants must be over 25 for the company's fleet insurance requirements and have held their driving licence for more than two years.

The roles provide an opportunity to join the team supporting the company's event catering operation over Christmas.
Applicants must be available for all three Fridays and Saturdays in December.
Operations Assistant
This full-time role is "ideal for someone looking for a job in the catering industry that is passionate about food, loves interacting with different people and can work well as a dynamic team".

Candidates must be over the age of 21 with a manual driving licence and have their own transport.
