WHAT'S ON IN ASHBY IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY OUR MAIN SPONSOR THE LYRIC ROOMS, STAUNTON HAROLD ESTATE and TWELVE.
With Halloween falling on Saturday, there are plenty of spooky activities and family-friendly events to enjoy around Ashby over the coming days.
From pumpkin picking and farm animals to a Halloween party at the library and a karaoke evening, here's what's happening from Thursday, October 29, until Monday, November 2.
Halloween fun at Charnwood Forest Alpacas
Families looking for a half-term activity can head to Charnwood Forest Alpacas, just outside Ashby, where Halloween experiences and pumpkin picking continue until Sunday, November 1.
The farm's Spooky Four-in-One Experience includes a spooky alpaca walk, the chance to meet the piggies and baby alpacas, and unlimited access to the petting farm.
Tickets cost £16 for adults and children aged over nine, £12 for children aged two to nine, while under-twos go free. Each child under nine must be accompanied by a paying adult.
There is also a separate pumpkin-picking experience, which includes carving and access to the petting farm. Tickets cost £10 per family and include one pumpkin, with additional pumpkins available to buy.
Both activities offer an opportunity to spend time with the animals while enjoying some Halloween-themed fun.

Visit Ashby Museum's vintage Christmas exhibition
For something a little different, Ashby Museum is hosting A Christmas Past, an exhibition of antique and vintage Christmas decorations from Germany and the former Soviet Union.
The collection is displayed in the museum's Loudoun Gallery by Tatiana and Serhii, the owners of Aurora Café in Ashby.
The exhibition runs until the end of December, so visitors can take a look during the half-term break and in the run-up to Christmas.
