Saffron Catering—a business local to Ashby – has invested in developing a new website and hiring new staff to reflect its ongoing growth and expansion.

The Appleby based business specialises in outside catering for weddings, corporate lunches, private events and venue catering across the Midlands but wanted to better showcase the many aspects of Saffron that make it stand out from competitors.

By redesigning the website and pursuing expansion opportunities, Saffron has created a new website that reflects the business's multiple arms, welcoming new and returning customers to discover the various services they can offer.

'We are incredibly proud of how the business has developed,' said Director Carla Garey, 'but we recognised that our website no longer reflected the company we have become.

'This project was about creating something that properly showcases all of our services, our team and the values behind the business. It is an important investment in our future and gives us a platform that can continue to grow alongside us.'

Saffron worked closely with local business Altitude Marketing for the website design and creating new content.

It was important for the business to include genuine photographs of the company, our events, our Food Trucks and our staff to give website visitors an authentic feel for what Saffron stands for.

Saffron's focus on giving back to the community has also grown with the business, with Carla juggling running a business with multiple branches while also serving as Chair of Ashby Netball Club.

Through her work with Ashby Netball Club, Carla helped to raise £60,500 last year for local causes through their annual Netball Marathon and other fundraisers.

Saffron also plays an important local role by hiring staff from across the area for a wide variety of jobs, including service staff, kitchen staff, Food Truck drivers, wedding coordinators and chefs.

Currently, they are hiring Food Truck Sales Drivers to work on the front lines, delivering sandwiches and snacks to local businesses across the region.

The role combines customer service with flexible, independent work, building relationships with the small businesses along the route.

They are also looking for freelance chefs who will work according to business needs at various locations throughout the Midlands.
