Ashby drivers have been warned of delays of at least 45 minutes on the M42 this morning after a road traffic accident at Junction 14 for East Miflands airport.
The vehicles involved have now been cleared with both lanes now opened.

Ashby drivers planning to head north towards Derby have been warned Swarkestone Bridge is closed to traffic on Sunday morning after a traffic accident.
Derbyshire fire service says that the vehicle involved ended up on its roof,
Ashby Ivanhoe FC's Midland League Division One game with NKF Burbage - schuled for 3pm on Saturday - has been postponed.
The club's pitch at the NFU ground is unfit so the game was called off after a morning inspection.

Ashby Ivanhoe Football Club have started girls' training sessions at the NFU Ground in Lower Packington Road on Monday evenings.
The sessions are from 6-7pm and aimed at girls aged 8-13years.

An Ashby schoolboy was being described as a 'legend' after he performed CPR on a man who collapsed in the town on Friday.
The boy, named on social media as Jake Ridgway, was praised on social media as 'brave and strong minded' and for his quick actions.
