EweMove – Hybrid Estate Agents Vs Branch-based Estate Agents

It is our belief that, over the next decade, there will be a decline in Estate Agents on the high street

Opening Hours -

We at EweMove can work 24/7 – including bank holidays! Which means, you will always have a real person to speak to, no matter what time of the day you wish to get in touch.

Whereas branch-based Estate Agents typically have office hours, meaning that for a large part of any given day, you are unable to get in touch.

This means that your queries often have to wait until the following day, or week. According to Rightmove, 50 percent of all property enquiries come in outside of the traditional 9-5 office hours, which means your potential buyers are also left waiting.

Whereas, at EweMove, we will speak with a potential buyer the same day and could have a viewing arranged as early as that day!

A prime example of this, is a HGV driver who wanted to view and ultimately buy one of our properties.

Being 24/7 meant that we were able to speak originally on a Sunday and the viewing took place the very next day (which was Bank Holiday Monday!).

We were then able to speak with the potential buyer in the evenings, which ultimately led to them placing an offer, which was accepted and they are now proceeding with the sale.

None of which would have been possible without our flexibility.

Customer Service -

We at EweMove strive to have a more personal service, where a smaller team gets to know you, your property and your buyers better and make sure you are never repeating yourself to multiple members of staff.

This means that when you get your photos done, or your viewings take place, someone who knows the answers will be there to deal with any queries.

As directors of our business, we care about what we do and we care about you and your property sale.

By nature, a branch-based Estate Agency will have a bigger team, which means there will be salaried staff where jobs are delegated out.

So, the person you first speak with is unlikely to be the person who takes your photos or even completes your viewings!

With having higher staff numbers and outgoings, this also means that the branch-based Estate Agents need a higher volume of business, meaning your property sale will become one of many and your sale will not become a priority.

Meanwhile, EweMove's model is based on working on a smaller number of properties, allowing us to give a premium service to everyone, despite the value of your property, and allows for more time to be spent with every property sale.

As part of our customer service, we offer a Happy Sale Guarantee, which means, unlike branch-based Estate Agents who tie you into long contracts, with EweMove you are not tied into any contract and you can walk away if you are unhappy.

Branch -

Where are you based on the high street?

This is a very common question that we get and one which is very easy to answer.

We are not on the high street!

We advertise on Rightmove and Zoopla, as well as being very proactive on social media.

We also have an exclusive deal with Ashby Nub News, where we have a property of the week feature.

Which means your property will be seen even more than those in the window of a High Street branch.

Also, with the shop windows of branch-based estate agents, there are between 15-30 properties typically on show. Which means, not all the properties on their books will make it into the shop window anyway, limiting your property's visibility to potential buyers.

It is our belief that, over the next decade, there will be a decline in Estate Agents on the high street.

Just look at what has happened to your banks.

Typically, people will look in an Estate Agent's shop window whilst being nosy on holiday. If you're looking locally and seriously, your first stop is the online portals.

Finally, Hybrid does not mean online! Whilst there are many opportunities to do things digitally, which can save time and hassle. Which is something that we fully embrace.

If you aren't overly confident online and need help by an actual person, we will come to your home and do everything we can to help you, every step of the way. This means, you do not have to go out of your way by heading into the branch, saving you time and inconvenience too.

To speak with us further about any of the above, or to enquire about listing your property with us, please contact us on our 24/7 number 01530 442356, email us on [email protected] or visit us at www.EweMove.com/AshbydelaZouch
