Ashby Ivanhoe FC coach Callum Prince is dyeing his hair blue to raise £300 for the NHS Charities Together.
Callum says he will be colouring his hair to match the NHS colours - as well as those of Ashby Ivanhoe - once he has reached his target.
"The NHS are doing a fabulous job and some of the coaches have been talking about what we could do within the club to raise a bit of money - I know some treats were dropped off at the Health Centre in Ashby over Easter," explained Callum who coaches the Under-18s squad.
"But I decided to do this, people said they'd donate - so I thought it was the least I could do and so I'm going for it.
"I'll wait until we hit the target, then I'll get it done."
Callum, who has been at Ashby Ivanhoe, for two years, says it is all part of the community spirit which the club is currently promoting.
"There's a lot changes going on at Ashby Ivanhoe and it's all about taking the club forwards with positive steps.
"We're trying to be more community focused and we're all latching on to that at the moment.
"Things are going in the right direction that's for sure.
"They've all been really supportive around what I'm doing and they'll all have a good laugh at my expense once we've hit the target.
"I'll be making myself look a bit of an idiot for a while, but it's all in a good cause. It'll be worth it.
"The Royal Blue shade will be NHS colours, but also the colours of Ashby Ivanhoe. But everything's on hold with the football of course at the moment, the Under-18s were having a good season but it's the same for everyone of course. It'll be good to get back to it eventually."

The club are backing Callum and posted on their Facebook page on Tuesday.
They wrote: 'It is now clear more than ever what an amazing job our NHS has done and is doing in these uncertain times.
"Anything that you can spare in these difficult times would be most appreciated and go along way to ensuring the NHS Charities are able to use the money to great effect."
Ashby Ivanhoe Football Club Chairman Stuart Bonser, said "All credit goes to Callum for this initiative and Ashby Ivanhoe are behind him all the way and wish him luck in achieving his goal for such a wonderful cause. Please back Callum by donating"
