Online Zumba Sessions To Be Held As Part Of Fundraiser To Help Ashby Ivanhoe FC Buy Their Ground

An online Zumba session to raise funds towards Ashby Ivanhoe FC buying their ground is being held tomorrow (Tuesday).

Blanka Harvey is organising it again following a successful outdoor session a few weeks ago.

it starts at 10am - with a second session scheduled for November 24.

It is a free, 45 minute, session and open for anyone to join.

The session is all online, so nobody will be meeting up in a group, and it will all be done from each person's household.

The first Zumbasession at Ashby Ivanhoe raised an impressive £600 for the club who want to buy their ground as the first stage of their ambitious plans for the future.

Ashby Ivanhoe were formed in 1948, but on June 1 this year, they were was reconstituted as a Community Interest Company Ashby Ivanhoe confirmed as Community Interest Club.

That means it is a member owned, not for profit business.

But the club needs to purchase the land and are fundraising to make that happen.
