Ashby Ivanhoe's Under-15s won the Derby City League Cup on Saturday when they beat Rolleston on penalties.

Charlie Gallop and Kelly Bartholomew scored for Ashby as the game finished 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Extra time could not split the teams who finished even at 2-2 which meant it came down to spot-kicks.

Ashby Ivanhoe's Facebook page posted: 'Our boys held their nerve and finished the job! Well done boys!'

The win is another boost for the NFI Ground side who are expanding on and off the field.
