Halloween (Beer) Festival of Darkness at Brew
On Thursday 30 October, Brew in Ashby are holding a mini beer festival to kick off the Halloween weekend from 4pm.
They are offering a great selection of dark beers and spooky spirit all evening.
They also have live music on Friday night from 5pm with Smithy, a street-food pop-up with Tasty Bites on Saturday from 4-8pm and a Halloween Party on Saturday from 8pm with live music from Andy Watts and Neil Davison.
Two Spooky Special Cocktails for Halloween at Twelve Ashby
Twelve are getting into the Halloween spirit all weekend with two spooky special cocktails on offer: 'Casper the spicy Mexican ghost' and 'Night of the living dead.' Head to the bar to try these limited-time specials!
Punch Needle Workshop at The Milking Parlour, Calke
Flossie and Bean are holding a beginner friendly introduction to punch needle embroidery where attendees can create their own decoration to take home.
All materials are provided and no previous experience required.

Live Music at the Blackfordby Old School Room
Carrie Martin is a solo singer, songwriter and guitarist who will be performing at Blackfordby Old School Room on Saturday 1 November.
Tickets cost £12 with attendees invited to bring their own drinks and nibbles along to enjoy a great night of live music and community spirit.

Ashby Film Nights at Ashby School
This Ashby Film Night will be showing Mr Burton, a story of the life of actor Richard Burton, from wayward schoolboy to facing the acting world head on.
Tickets cost £6 with doors opening at 6.45pm and the film starting at 7.15pm.
There will be wine and soft drinks available to purchase before the film.
