Video: Take A Trip Around Ashby Castle With History Roadshow
A fascinating video tour of Ashby Castle has been released by the History Roadshow You Tube Page.
The educational clip, at just under seven minutes long, shows you scenes from the ruins of the castle and gives commentary about its history.
On History Roadshow's Twitter page, it says: "A manor had existed at Ashby-de-la-Zouch from at least 1086.
"Constructed on the site of the older manor house. Ashby de la Zouch Castle today is a ruined fortification. Built by William, Lord Hastings."
