Jim's Tractor Run made its annual journey through Ashby, Blackfordby, Norris Hill and Shellbrook today before returning to the town's Bath Grounds.

The parade of tractors - vintage and modern - classic cars and other vehicles was greeted by large crowds in Market Street.

Ashby de la Zouch Town Council declared the event to be a success again, posting on its social media page: "Wow, Ashby you did not disappoint and you turned out in your thousands.

"Thank you to everyone who took part in the event. The weather held up, just.

"Truly amazing day a huge thanks from Jim and the team who make this event happen."

Here are some photos of the Tractor Run - and a video as the convoy left Shellbrook on its way back into Ashby.
