Thanks to the huge number of people who read our stories and have listed their services on our online newspaper over the past year.

Ashby Nub News, just 16 months old, currently averaging 50,000 page visits a month and last week alone, the figure was more than 20,000. Already this year, we have had 180,000 page views. That puts us on course for at least 750,000 views in 2021 - particular as lockdown measures ease and events return to the local calendar.

These were stories about the Ashby area, and relevant to the residents who live in our town and the surrounding villages.

At Ashby Nub News, our motto is Your Town In Your Pocket. We aim to be your one-stop-shop for all things Ashby: positive community news, detailed reports, what's on; property, jobs and classified listings.

We are also compiling an A-Z of the businesses, charities and groups in Ashby. It's our way of giving them a free promotional boost and several companies and professionals are displaying their services on our Local List.

We are on Facebook and Twitter and across these social media pages we have amassed more than 2,800 followers.

Across the country, Nub News is in 62 towns, having launched less than two years ago in January 2019. We are a fast growing journalism network, giving readers a great user experience without any invasive adverts.

Ashby Nub News is now looking for community-minded sponsors who want to reach a highly engaged targeted audience.

Sponsors in our other towns include solicitors, care homes, care-at-home, garden centres, estate agents and restaurants. We have excellent customer references.

We have different sections of the site that can be sponsored.

So, here are some of our sponsorship rates and our range of packages (rates are an average).

Main News Sponsorship (Between £500-£1,000 a month) - With this you get the banner at the top of the news section and at the top of every news article. We write four professional articles and the sponsor can submit their own content editorials. Job adverts come with the package. This includes all social media.

Secondary News Sponsorship (£250-£500 a month) - With this you get the banner at the bottom of every news article. We write three professional articles and the company can submit their own content editorials (within reason). Job adverts come with the package. This includes all social media.

What's On sponsorship (£150-300 a month)- a section banner with links at the top. We write two professional articles and the company can submit their own content editorials (within reason). Job adverts come with the package. This includes all social media.

Property Sponsorship (£200-300 a month)- EXCLUSIVE sponsorship with banner and links at the top of the Property section. We write 2 professional articles and the company can submit their PROPERTY OF THE WEEK as well as other editorial content. This includes all social media.

Classified Sponsorship: section banner with links at the top. We write 2 professional articles. Job adverts come with the package. This includes all social media.

Jobs: £75-£100 per job advert which would last one month. The job article would also be turned into a quick news article and shared.

Local Listing Sponsorship: (£200 per month) section banner with links at the top. We write two professional articles and the company can submit their own content editorials (within reason). Job adverts come with the package. This includes all social media.

Newsletter Sponsorship: £200-500. A banner and a short intro paragraph.

Intra News Articles Ads: £25-50 an ad for one week. These have the advantage of great visibility for your company but without being overly intrusive.

If you are interested in making your company's name visible to thousands locally, please get in touch with our chief executive Karl Hancock, email [email protected]
