The Lyric Rooms in Lower Chruch Street sees the return of its Mamma Mia night on Saturday - with Live ABBA Girls Tribute and a three-course Greek Themed Meal.

After your meals, the fun really begins when an amazing ABBA Girls Tribute hit the stage to perform all of the ABBA hits and Mamma Mia classics..

Please feel very free to dress in your funkiest ABBA costumes.

The Venture Theatre begins its run of Ladies Unleashed tonight (Thursday).

The Ladies are back! The herring girls from Hull venture out in this third play in the series by Amanda Whittington. After winning it big on the horses (Ladies Day) and finding love and adventure in Australia (Ladies Down Under) Pearl, Jan and Linda reunite again.

This time for a weekend prior to a wedding in Lindisfarne, a place where the echoes of the past merge with the present. But a lot has changed since they were last together, and will Shelley return?

Trouble is never far away and as they get cut off from the mainland, tensions rise with the tide. As the girls look back on the changes in their lives and changes over the last century, the importance of love and friendship remain.

On Friday night, Ashby School hosts Do You Hear the People Sing?

This is an evening of wonderful songs from fantastic musicals, new and not so new.

Songs from your favourite musicals will feature, including, Les Mis, Hamilton, Little Shop of Horrors, Dear Evan Hansen and many more.

Saturday see the Ashby Fake Festival come to the Bath Grounds.

Six 'fake bands' – professional 'touring-grade' tribute bands that put on a superb performance - are coming to town. They look, sound and move like the real rock-stars – you have to see them to believe it!
