One of the highlights of the festival is set to be the variety of vendors who will be showcasing their culinary talents.

From mouthwatering burgers to delectable desserts, there is something to satisfy every taste.

The Sir John Moore Foundation Museum, at Appleby Magna, has an open day on Sunday.

Ever wondered why Sir Christopher Wren chose a quiet Leicestershire village to build a first-rate school?

Or just who Sir John Moore was? Perhaps you've heard of the artist John Glover, who was Australia's answer to Turner, but started his career in Appleby Magna.

Perhaps you would just like to bring a picnic, order a locally brewed beer from the Cellar Bar, and relax whilst the kids play games on the lawn.

Moira Village Hall is the venue for Sunday's Spring Concert.

This is jointly presented by Coalville Male Voice Choir and the Packington Community Choir.

They are billing it as the best concert you will attend this Spring.

Next Wednesday's Ashby Film Nights features, The Holdovers (15).

Set in the 1970s, this good-natured comedy drama has an unpopular teacher (the always excellent Paul Giamatti) a rebellious student, and the school cook (Da'Vine Joy Randolph) form an unexpected odd-'couple' bond while stuck together over the Christmas break.

With funny, rueful dialogue it was nominated for five Oscars and Randolph won the best supporting actress BAFTA.

Doors Open at 6.45 pm, film starts at 7.10 pm.

More details are HERE.

Brew in Ashby has more pop up food this Saturday with The Meatles returning as guests.

Then, the craft beer bar in Market Street has another Lazy Sunday Afternoon session with Chris Baldwin playing live this week.
