It currently has a number of opportunities for experienced Pipefitter / Welders to be based out of its manufacturing facility in Swadlincote and working on its various clients' sites across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate assembling, and installing of steel work, pipe work, pumps, valve pipeline ancillaries.
- Repairing malfunctions.
- Testing pipe systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Performs inspections of systems to identify and replace worn parts.
- Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes.
- Follow engineering drawings and instructions for each job.
- Check dimensions and thicknesses of materials to be welded.
- Prepare and set out sections to be joined or repaired.
- Calibrate tools and machinery.
- Operate welding equipment.
- Inspect and test welds and joins, using precision measuring instruments
