A fundraising quiz at Bright Hope House on 29 January raised an incredible £1,625 to support the on-going work of Bright Hope in North West Leicestershire.
Based in the countryside around Coalville, Bright Hope provide a variety of support for individuals with long-term or life limiting physical or mental health conditions, helping them to live a more fulfilled life.
They are committed to ensuring these services continue to support those who need them in the area, offering day care services, counselling, support cafes in Ashby, Ibstock and Coalville, befriending services, complementary therapy, bereavement support and a flexible one-to-one holistic support service called Way Back to Wellness.
In November, Bright Hope was awarded The King's Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and the equivalent of a MBE.
The quiz night had a full house, with people across North West Leicestershire coming together to support Bright Hope.
Due to the popularity, they have already announced their second quiz taking place on 16 April.
