North West Leicestershire District Council's outdoor art gallery has gone on tour - and is now on show at Visit Conkers in Moira.

Local amateur artists living in the area have created this outdoor gallery, with their inspiration taken from the National Forest.

Visitors can take part in a 'people's choice competition' to be in with a chance of winning a day out to a local attraction.

Details can be found HERE.

The council says: "Tell us which is your favourite and why – you will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a local visitor attraction day out!

"We want to share the message that we live right inside the National Forest – an area that is growing every year.

"We are very lucky to have so many areas of woodland to enjoy, both alone and with our families.

"We are all aware of the benefits of walking amongst trees and the role they play in the health of not just ourselves, but our planet too."

You can find out more about the artists involved and their work HERE.

Due to the success of the project in Coalville, the boards have now moved to Conkers for visitors to view over the summer and they will be on display there until September 5.

Copies of 10 of the boards, including the people's choice winner and highly commended boards, have been displayed in Coalville along Oliver's Walk.

The council's aim behind the project there was to encourage shoppers to think about what it means to live in The National Forest and remind people how important it is to support the local area.
