New Ashby shop opens its doors

Indulgent Chocolates is opening is doors for the first time at its new Bath Street shop in Ashby today (Saturday).

Founder Keith Tiplady announced the opening on Facebook last night.

But he says a 'grand opening' has had to wait while Covid-19 restrictions remain in place.

He posted: "We are very excited to announce that our new shop in Ashby-de-la-Zouch is opening on Saturday (10am-4pm).

"Being respectful of the current COVID situation we will not be doing a grand opening and will be limiting the number of people in the shop at a time.

"However, we will once lockdown eases.

Indulgent chocolates due to open in Ashby this Spring.

"I have been working seven days a week for the last few weeks to get the shop ready; relaying floors, painting, wallpapering, refitting the shop, etc.

"I am now working very hard to try and get as much stock ready as possible.

"Thank you for all your support over the last 11 months, I hope to see lots of you in the shop soon."
