A Grade II listed building in the heart of Ashby is going up for auction for £250,000 with Bond Wolfe.

The building is at 2 Kilwardby Street, which is currently the home of La Zouch Coffee House, Restaurant and Wine Cellar.

The specialist wine and whiskey sellers have been in the building for the last 40 years.

According to Bond Wolf, the property is a 'attractive vacant freehold prime Grade II Listed town centre restaurant with upper floors and walled garden, considered suitable for a wide variety of alternative uses, subject to any necessary planning permission.'

Comprising of three floors and a walled garden, the building has trading areas on the upper floors as well as former living accommodation.

The auction will take place at 8.30am on Thursday 9 July
