Fishers Solicitors, and Frost Group have joined forces to create a new professional networking group in Ashby de la Zouch called Ashby Connect.

Fishers Solicitors, who have been in Ashby for over 200 years, along with Frost Group who are relatively new to the area, albeit a national firm, recognised that there is a real need for a networking group In Ashby.

Ashby Connect is aimed at welcoming professionals in a relaxed and more informal setting.

The event extends between two hours so people can come and go as they please over lunch.

There will be lunch and drinks on offer so people can enjoy light refreshments whilst taking the time to network.

Our aim of informal networking is so the group can be enjoyed by a wide range of new and experienced professionals.

The first networking group takes place on the 27th April between 12-2pm at The Beeches.

The group will thereafter meet on the last Wednesday of every month.

Ian Riley, head of commercial property at Fishers Solicitors says: "Fishers are really pleased to be able to create a networking group, Ashby Connect with Frost Group.

"We wanted to build the foundations of a networking group that can be enjoyed by professionals for hopefully many years to come.

"We recognise that Ashby has a vibrant business community and there seems to be a lack of opportunities for that community to get together and share ideas.

"We're hoping this new event will enable people to forge links and meet with likeminded professionals.

"Our ultimate goal is that Ashby Connect will become a regular event for people's calendars and that in time people can benefit from getting together and building strong business and personal connections."
