The well-known legal firm is based at the Ivanhoe Office Park and currently has four vacancies on offer.

Conveyancing Assistant (Secretarial) F/T and P/T

Fishers says: We have two exciting roles in our Residential Conveyancing team for Legal Assistants to support fee earners in their day to day tasks. We're a friendly independent law firm based in a modern bright and open office at a business park on the edge of Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

We're a thriving business of over 200 years, who like to get stuck in, work hard and, love what we do. Our Residential Conveyancing team is one of our busiest departments who are looking to grow with the help of a Legal Assistant. We will consider part time (9.30-3pm Monday to Friday with half an hour unpaid for lunch or 2/3 full days on a job share basis) as well as full time.

Applicants do not need legal experience but must be proficient in Microsoft packages, have a good telephone manner and the ability to work well in a busy team environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE Our Legal Assistant will provide direct support to our fee earners within the Residential Property Team and will be expected to use a high degree of self- management and initiative.

Commercial Property Fee Earner

Fishers says: Our Commercial Property Fee Earner will be expected to have a high degree of self-management and initiative to manage a varied caseload of transactional work and provide the following:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES *Dealing with sales and purchases

*Providing advice on complex land law issues *Handling the full remit of leasehold transactions (including asset management)

*Dealing with development work (options, promotions, conditional contracts)

*Managing own caseload *Assisting with the firm's marketing initiatives

*Business Development (including networking)

*Showing commerciality in drafting documents and resolving transaction issues

*Providing exceptional client care

*Diligent and accurate use of the firms Case Management System The above does not constitute an exhaustive list of duties. The post holder may be required to perform any reasonable tasks commensurate with the role and level of responsibility at the request of the Directors and or Partners.

Wills and Probate Fee Earner

Fishers says: We're looking for a Fee Earner to join our Wills and Probate team at Fishers Solicitors in Ashby-de-Zouch.

The role is full time (35 hours a week) with the option of hybrid working with up to 2 days from home. Salary: £35,000-£60,000 per annum dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a high degree of self-management and initiative to manage a varied caseload of transactional work.

Main responsibilities include:

* Handling a varied caseload of Wills, lasting powers of attorney, the setting up and administration of trusts, Court of Protection and the administration of estates (both with and without a Will), and variation of Wills.

*Ensuring that all client work is progressed in a timely manner and that the client is kept informed throughout, delivering exceptional customer service.

*Complying with all file and case management quality standards in accordance with the Law Society requirements.

*Assisting the Head of Department with any other relevant duties as and when required and working together to promote the department as a whole.

*Building upon the firm's reputation to attract key clients and assist with the firm's marketing initiatives.
