An American man is trying to track down relatives of a family who moved to Ashby from Whaley Bridge in Derbyshire.

Jack Watts, from Los Angeles, is doing a research project into a tattoo artist from Whaley Bridge called Eddie or Eric Hall.

He has sent a newspaper cutting which captions him as 'Eddy'.

Jack said: "I'm trying to track his family down to find out more about him.

"I know his brother and sister in law moved to Ashby de-la-Zouch but have since passed away.

"They did have a daughter called Alyson though so that would be Eddie/Eric's niece.

"I don't have a last name for her though!

"Would you be able to put a post up for me please to see someone knows her?"

If you can help Jack, you can find his Facebook page HERE.
