The 10th Anniversary of Jim's Tractor Run in Ashby has been postponed due to the Coronavirus lockdown.

But it has been provisionally re-arranged for September 6.

The Run was to have been staged on July 26 but it has joined the list of events that have had to be called off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, Ashby de la Zouch Town Council says that it could yet happen this year.

The Tractor Run and Family Fun Day was to have seen over 100 Tractors and Classic Vehicles parade through town and then park up at the Bath Grounds.

A number of activities were also planned such a Climbing Wall, Fair Rides, Stalls, Entertainment, Food and Drink and Archery.

But the Town Council posted on Monday: "The Tractor Run event is under review, however it will not be taking place in July as previously advertised.

"We await Government guidance surrounding mass gatherings and will update as soon as we are able to."
