Woman Taken To Hospital After Falling Off Bike In Ashby On Sunday

A woman was taken to hospital after falling off her bike in Ashby on Sunday evening.

The incident happened on Burton Road close to the junction with the Derby Road roundabout.

There was no collision but a vehicle stopped at the scene to assist along with a number of people.

An ambulance was called to attend to the woman.

A Leicestershire Police spokesman said: "She was taken to hospital to be checked over."
