An Ashby company with a £35million turnover has sealed a catering contract at IM Properties' One Central Boulevard building at Blythe Valley Park in Solihull.

Wilson Vale is based at the Ivanhoe Business Park and currently employs over 900 people.

Their contract, which began last month, sees a team of four Wilson Vale staff providing breakfast, lunch and hospitality to 600 people in the multi-tenanted building, which is home to a variety of businesses including Cooper Parry, GKN Aerospace and Taylor Wimpey, reports Facilities Management Journal

The building underwent a £5 million refurbishment in 2017 and that included the repositioning of a communal cafe on the ground floor to act as a meeting and collaboration space for occupiers of the building.

Andre Wilson, the Co-founder of Wilson Vale, said: "Our food and service offer reflects the quality of this stunning working environment, with an emphasis on home-made dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

"Food takes central stage but it's the rapport our team builds with customers and their ability to listen and respond to diverse tastes and needs is what influences our performance and client satisfaction. It is early days, but everything seems to be going smoothly and we are very pleased to be part of the One Central Boulevard community."

Rob Hemus, Asset Director at IM Properties, said: "At Blythe Valley Park we aim to deliver the best quality for our occupiers through the buildings and surrounding environment at the Park, and Wilson Vale reflects that ethos by delivering exceptional catering with a proactive team. This is something we have experienced first-hand at our new HQ in Solihull where Wilson Vale manages and delivers superb in-house catering for our staff and visitors."

Wilson Vale specialises in high quality catering, mainly within business and industry, independent schools and the conference venue sector and had an annual turnover of over £35 million in 2019.
