Ashby Ivanhoe FC have cancelled all games and training until further notice due to the spread of Coronavirus.

The club's first team were to have played a Midland League Division One game against NFK Burbage on Tuesday night.

But they have announced a club-wide suspension starting from midnight on Monday

What Ashby Needs To Know

Ashby Ivanhoe issued a statement on Monday evening which read: "Following advice from Grassroots Football and the announcement by the Prime Minister today the following is to be implemented.

"It is in the best interests of all of the club's staff, coaches, players volunteers and spectators that ALL training sessions and games are cancelled from midnight until further notice.

"Regarding the Tamworth Junior Football League games, we have not yet heard from them, but the club takes the stance that the training sessions for teams in this league are also cancelled.

"The situation will be monitored closely and updates will be communicated as and when we receive them."
