Ashby Castle Rotary Club will be in the town centre tomorrow (Saturday) to hand out entry numbers for this year's Santa Fun Run & Walk.

They will be situated outside Boots in Market Street - under the Rotary Club gazebo - between 10am-4pm.

If you have signed up for this year's event - this is the place to head for.

But, if you cannot make it tomorrow, the gazebo will be back in the same place over the following two Saturdays.

There is still time to sign up today HERE and collect your entry numbers tomorrow.

Early indications are that there will be at least 300 people taking part in the December 4 event - although around 800 entered last year.

A morning of Christmas entertainment is promised on the day at the Bath Grounds.

Starting with Christmas music, a fun warm-up by Fitness Republic, followed by a run or walk around Ashby.

The 'real' Rotary Santa and his sleigh will be there - and finishing up with a medal, chocolate bar for the kids, free sweet treat from Sweet Memory Lane sweet shop and the feeling of playing your part in raising many thousands of pounds for this year's worthy charities, Hospice Hope, Wishes 4 Kids and Ashby Foodbank.

Food and refreshments are available on the Bath Grounds in the morning from Ashby Hastings Cricket Club and Stewart's Fish and Chips.
