By Graham Hill

6th Dec 2021 | Local News

Around 800 'Santas' took part in a fun run from the Bath Grounds this morning (Sunday) as the event returned after a year away.

The Santa Fun Run is organised by the Rotary Club of Ashby de la Zouch Castle and raises money for local charities including Hospice Hope.

The fun runners left the Bath Grounds at 11am after a warm-up session from Fitness Republic and some festive music.

They were then sent on their way by Ashby's Mayor Cllr Rita Manning.

They set off on a route from the Bath Grounds and up towards Ashby Castle before returning to the start-finish area.
