Ashby Ivanhoe youngsters are aiming clock up a 100 miles a month in aid of Miles for Macmillan Cancer Research.

Team Ashby Ivanhoe Rangers Under-10s is a dedicated team of players and parents, united in a mission to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Together, they are pledging to walk or run a collective amount of 100 miles each a month during April, May and June.

As a team, they believe in the power of community and the impact they can make when they come together for a common cause.

By participating in this challenge, they are not only raising vital funds for cancer research, but also showing their support to those affected by this disease.

The group says that every step they take brings us closer to a future where no-one has to face cancer alone.

Donations made will make a significant difference in the lives of individuals and families impacted by cancer, providing essential support and resources when they need it most.

The group's Just Giving page HERE, says: "Join us on this incredible journey as we walk towards a brighter, healthier future. Together, we can make a real difference in the fight against cancer.

"We kindly ask for your support. Donate or share their story - every action counts! Let's come together as a community and make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by cancer."

In just seven days, the team has completed 343 miles, equivalent to 772,878 steps - and raised £150 so far.

But they have a target of £1,000.

Last year, the team climbed Snowdon and raised over £5,000 for Diabetes UK.
