Three businesses in Ashby have been nominated for regional awards which recognise the work of local independents.

The businesses have been named across three different categories in the 'Muddy Awards 2026' which are now open for voting.

Organised for the 13th time by online guide Muddy Stilettos Northants, Leics & Rutland, the awards recognise multiple different businesses in each of 21 different categories.

Categories cover best beauty salon to best children's business, and all the finalists have been nominated by the public.

The local nominees are:

• Best Children's Business: B's House
• Best Family Experience: Conkers
• Best Wellness Break: Champneys Springs
