Tomorrow (Thursday) a group of employees at Fishers are heading to the Maher Centre in Leicester to attend an award ceremony to see if they have been successful in winning the Leicestershire Live, Employer of the Year award.

In order to enter the award, the team at Fishers wrote an entry form detailing how they go above and beyond for their employees.

The entry included the long list of employee benefits, from a Birthday Wheel, a profit related bonus, dress down Fridays, flexible working, socials, pay day lunches and drinks paid for by the company amongst other great benefits.

The move to new modern office saw another endeavour to ensure employees had a comfortable working environment and a place to collaborate and excel at work.

The new offices have been an enormous success for both employees and clients.

The next stage in the award entry process was the judging panel visited the offices and interviewed two members of the team as well as taking a tour of the office to see how and what our company culture looked like in real life.

Since entering the awards, Fishers have continued to improve the employee working environment, from recently launching a new set of values which can be found on our website to supporting and helping employees with continued professional development.

Fishers are excited to attend the awards, to get together as a team and get dressed up as well as meeting lots of other great companies in and round Leicester.
