Ashby Ivanhoe Under-14s recorded a convincing 3-1 win over Hilton Harriers at the weekend.

Groundsmen Gez Eivors and Chris Meredith made sure the game went ahead on what was a heavy and difficult pitch.

But Ashby still managed to play some good football, especially in midfield.

Zack Eames, Harrison Eaton, Tom Ford scored for Ashby who were dominant throughout and deserved to win by a bigger margin.

Ashby UNDER-NINE Knights secured another win - beating Ambleside U9 Juniors from Nuneaton

The Game at the NFU kicked off at 11 30am on Saturday morning and despite the wet conditions and cold weather the team got off to a good start, and at half time were two up.

The opposition's resolve stiffened but a good all round team effort secured a 5 -1 home win. The Knights face local opposition Heather next week away kick off 10 30am.

Man of the Match was Kye Woolridge and the Ivanhoe Hero was Joe Bevilacqua Masunda.
