Ashby Ivanhoe Under-14 Knights put up a brave show against Mercia Knights at Lichfield - but lost by the. only goal of the game.
They impressed against strong opposition and were creative in midfield - developing opportunities.
But they could not quite break down a stubborn Lichfield defence .
The Man of the Match went to Joe Masunda with defenders Tommy Lees and Ike Beirnie defending stoutly as well.
