Ashby Ivanhoe' first team are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Coventry to face GNP Sports in a Midland League fixture.

Ivanhoe have not played since December 14 when they won 1-0 at Leicester Road.

Ashby are currently 14th in the table with GNP - whose ground is at Sphinx Drive - in eighth spot.

Ivanhoe's planned home game on Boxing Day against Chelmsley Town was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

But there is due to be a game at the club's NFU ground on Lower Packington Road, with the second team Knights taking on Cottesmore at 2pm.

However, the club said on Friday evening that there will be a 10am inspection to see if this game can go ahead.
