Young musicians enjoy continued success after being selected from Ashby Rotary competition

Two of the four young musicians selected from Ashby Rotary's Young Musician 2024 competition to perform at the District event have won their classes.

They were competing against a number of other musicians entered from Rotary clubs throughout the District.

Harpist Effie Bowman won both the Junior Instrumental Solo and the Junior Vocal Solo class.

Suzanne Iselin, playing the alto saxophone, was the Intermediate Instrumental Solo winner.

Both of them will now progress to the Regional Cluster Competition on March 17 - which will be held at the Dixie Grammar School in Market Bosworth.
