Bon Jovi UK at Conkers

On Friday 1st August, Conkers Arena will be holding an electrifying live show, featuring the hits from on of the UK's top tribute acts.

Bon Jovi UK will be playing all his major hits, with Nige as front man on vocals, guitarist Bob and Rich the drummer.

The doors open for this event at 7pm with the show kicking off at 8pm. Licensed bar and burger van will be serving refreshments.

Free Meditation Workshop

The Health Workshop in Rushton Yard are holding a free session for those new to meditation to give it a go, and those with some experience to find some inner calm.

This event will take place on Friday 1st August from 11.30am to 12.30 and occurs on the first Friday of every month.

Sealed Knot in Ashby Town Centre

The Sealed Knot are returning to Ashby since their last visit in 2018. This Civil War re-enactment event will take place on the 2nd and 3rd August.

The events across both days will include a cannon display on the Bath Grounds, a parade from Ivanhoe School, live battle and historic village.

Over 30s Daytime Disco

The Over 30s Daytime Disco is returning once again to Manhattan's in Ashby to give local the opportunity to let loose to their favourite tunes, without having to crawl home at an ungodly hour of the morning.

This month's Daytime Disco will take place on Saturday 2nd August from 4pm and feature hits from 70s, 80s and 90s disco, as well as Motown, party hits and cheesy pop tracks.

This event runs until 9pm for the over 30s before the doors are opened to youngsters at 9pm where the party will continue until 3pm.

Weekends at Brew

Brew in Ashby is back this weekend with their two weekly events. On Saturday 2nd August from 4pm to 8pm, Brew will be joined by Calientes Street Food - name a better duo than Mexican food and a fabulous local pint.

On Sunday 3rd August from 3pm, Jack Smith will be taking the Lazy Sunday afternoon acoustic spot. Enjoy chilled vibes and laid back energy to enjoy a pint with some great music.
