FA Cup football is back at Ashby Ivanhoe this Saturday.

It has been seven years since the club qualified for the prestigious competition.

But this weekend they host Deeping Rangers in the Extra Preliminary Qualifying round - and hoping to go on a run after making a strong start to the season.

Conkers in Moira has The Ragdolls - A Jersey Boys tribute on Saturday night.

Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Ragdoll, Walk Like a Man, Sherry, Grease, and many other hits will be on stage.

The show, featuring four principal singers and a live band, promises a 'roof blowing finale'.

As those famous red jackets come out, their medley of songs with good old 50s flair should have you dancing and singing in the aisles.

Staunton Harold Hall is hosting an Artisan Show this weekend.

Some of the finest craft and artisan pieces in Leicestershire, Derbyshire and beyond and will be on show in the beautiful grounds of the Georgian mansion.

There will be a range of artisans and makers carefully selected to showcase British craftsmanship, talent and diversity.

The Heather Scarecrow Festival continues until Sunday.

Once a year, in the nicest possible way, the good people of Heather go slightly insane!

Throughout the village, the gardens are dotted with scarecrows, scores and scores of them, some of celebs, some topical, many of them cheerfully daft, and all competing for the votes of the people who come from miles around to see them.
