Looking ahead to next Wednesday, Ashby Film Nights returns with Rye Lane.
Set against the vibrantly photographed backdrop of sunny south London, Rye Lane blends the warmth and charm of a rom com with a bit of sparky urban grit.
The film is smart, funny and heart warming. It stars the charismatic David Jonsson (who stared in the BBC's recent Agatha Christie adaption, Murder is Easy) and Vivian Oparah as a would-be couple who spend one long, action-packed day together.
Most of all this debut film by Raine Allen-Miller manages to make an old story feel new.
It will be shown at Ashby School and more details are HERE.
