The Lyric Rooms in Ashby is hosting a Caribbean Night on Friday.

After their sell-out pop-up restaurant Tapas night, you are invited to swing into the ultimate Caribbean vibes with a Caribbean menu with the fabulously entertaining 'Two Tonic'.

Two Tonic are a a local duo smashing the scene with their show that covers Reggae, Ska and Caribbean classics.

Themed cocktails will be available on the night.

An ideal night to have some fun and hook-up with friends, family or work colleagues.

Ashby has its first Pride Day on Saturday.

You may have noticed that the streets are already decked out with Rainbow flags and brightly coloured shop fronts.

But the events get under way on Saturday morning and continue through to the early hours with a number of venues taking part.

There will be free parking in the North Street car park in conjunction with the event.

This weekend also sees the Ashby Open Gardens - on both Saturday and Sunday.

Come and visit the beautiful, yet different, gardens and see a vast array of stunning and unusual plants in glorious locations.

Take the opportunity to see what can be achieved in typical 'town' gardens like yours, rather than the 'Country Estates' that are typical of many open garden events.

There are more new gardens this year, as well as changes in some of the existing ones, and Ashby Allotments will be part of it again.

The Venture Theatre in Ashby is playing host to the Concordia Choir on Saturday evening.

A Night at the Opera will be an evening of famous choruses and arias.

The performance features Ashby's Concordia Choir and guests.

Brew in Market Street is playing its part in Pride Day with live music on Saturday night.

Lucy Bremridge is doing a live acoustic set from 8pm.

The next day, Brew has its regular Lazy Sunday Afternoon spot, this week featuring Leah Wlcx.
