It will be a busy weekend for the Lyric Rooms which also hosts a Bottomless Brunch on the Saturday.

The Venture Theatre's production of The Wedding carries on until Saturday evening.

You can read our review of the play HERE.

This hilarious and, at times, very moving play follows Paul and Christine's big day.

As the event unfolds, the couple is beset with a host of unexpected family frolics and mishaps. Whatever did happen to the registrar?

Written by Leicestershire author and playwright Terry Hammond, who also wrote the box office hit Ten Rods, The Wedding offers a really fun event.

Details of how to book are HERE.

Can't see details of your event here or on our What's On page?

Remember, you can list your Ashby de la Zouch area event for FREE at Ashby Nub News.

Go to our What's On page, click on the Nub It button and we'll do the rest.
