On Saturday evening, St Helen's Church in Ashby is hosting a concert, Galliarda - The Enlightened Heart.

The concert promotes the music and performing traditions of women in the 18th Century.

Plus two new pieces will be performed.

There is music of a different kind elsewhere in Ashby on Saturday night.

The White Hart has rock covers band Shamradio playing live from 9.30 at the Market Street venue.

While The Greyhound at Boundary also has a band in the shape of Murder of Crows.

They will be playing a range of rock hits from Metal to Punk.

Friday sees the re-opening of the Monkey Tree in Mill Lane Mews.

The former restaurant has relaunched as music bar and their opening night has The Cap Guns playing live.

On Sunday, a short car ride to Melbourne sees the Assembly Rooms hosting a Craft Market.

This will be taking place between 11am-1. 30pm.

There are 26 stall holders selling beautiful handcrafted items, refreshments, cakes and bakes.

It is a busy weekend again at Brew in Market Street.

The craft bar has pop up food again on Saturday in the shape of The Burgerologist, between 4-8pm.
