What's On in the Ashby area this weekend

Concordia Choir will be appearing at St Helen's Church this Saturday

A choral celebration of the Queen's reign and a three-day music festival are the highlights of the weekend in the Ashby area.

But there is plenty of food and music to enjoy as well in another packed few days in the town,

Saturday sees the Concordia Choir's Choral Tribute to the reign of Her Majesty.

It starts at 3:30 pm, tickets are £10 and under 16s free and includes Afternoon Tea at the Heritage Centre after the concert.

Over in Moira, the Timber Festival returns from Friday to Sunday.

Organisers say it is an incredible weekend festival of celebration, debate and reflection in the National Forest.

Timber invites you to stand up and be counted as we rethink our relationship with trees and forests.

Join new thinkers as they challenge us to re-examine our relationship with the natural world.

Gather with artists, musicians and writers, as they respond and react to the forest in bold and exhilarating ways.

Still in the same area, Moira Craft Fair returns this Sunday after being washed out a month ago.

The event is back at Moira Furnace Country Park and Musuem.

Food is also on the menu with Mmacaron in Market Street hosting another pop up with Ashby Wines this Friday and Saturday from 5:30pm to 10pm

They will be hosting The Burgerologist Street Food Pop Up.
