Ashby's Venture Theatre's production of Not With A Bang by Mike Harding continues its run this weekend.

The North Street venue will be staging the play on Friday (November 25) and Saturday (November 26).

It then returns on Wednesday and runs through to the following Saturday.

When their wives join the Women's Peace Movement, Nobby, Tommy and Ken, mates in the Territorial Army, treat it as a joke.

As the women get more involved and eventually go on a sex strike with the slogan 'No Nooky Against the Nukes', the men find themselves treated as a laughing stock.

Antiques expert Victoria Sheppard will be on hand to value your items.

On Friday (November 25), Springfields will be holding its festive craft event from 2pm.

The venue, off Burton Road, is inviting you to come and join the Christmas spirit.

On Saturday afternoon, Ashby Baptist Church is holding its Christmas crafts market.

The event promises plenty of wonderful stall holders selling beautiful handmade products.

There are also refreshments, a handmade raffle and a send a letter to Santa for the children.

On Saturday night, The Greyhound in Boundary has The Incredible Skank Brothers playing live.

They will be bringing their own brand of Ska music.
