Ashby de la Zouch Town Council has reported vandalism caused to the sanitiser station in Market Street.

The facility has been in place since last year's lockdown as part of being able to allow the public to shop safely in the town centre.

But a photo published on Wednesday the Town Council shows that the top of the sanitiser has been ripped off and damage caused to the surrounding fencing.

The Council posted on social media and said: "We are aware that the sanitiser station has been vandalised.

"Replacements have been ordered and will be back to normal over the coming days."
