A 21-year-old man is in hospital with 'serious injuries' after a window was smashed at an Ashby restaurant over the weekend.

We reported on Saturday that the Little India restaurant in Market Street had revealed details of damage caused in the early hours of Saturday morning (May 14).

The restaurant posted a message on social media message that the person had put his head through the window, leaving blood on the pavement.

Little India also said it had CCTV evidence of the damage being caused and urged the culprit to come forward.
