Upcoming road closures for Ashby 20 this weekend

Ashby 20 is taking place on Sunday 22 March, causing a lot of road closures and one way systems in place, as well as increased traffic and congestion in the area.
Traffic measures will be in place, all for different durations and to differing extents, with one way systems in place along the route stopping traffic driving in the direction of the run.
The traffic measures are as follows:
- Closure - Upper Packington Road from Leicester Road to Lower Packington Road, Ashby - 9.30 to 10.20am
- One way - Ashby Road from Lower Packington Road to Mill Street in Packington - 9.45 t0 10.15am
- Closure - Mill Street, Packington - 9.05 to 10.15am
- One way - Measham Road to Five Lane Ends, Packington - 8am to 12.30pm
- One way - Gallows Lane from Five Lane Ends to Swepstone Road - 8am to 1.30pm
- One way - Swepstone Road to Heather from Gallows Lane to Main Street, Heather - 8am to 1.30pm
- Traffic Lights - Main Street, Heather is open both ways with traffic lights - 8am to 1.30pm
- One way - Normanton Road through Normanton to Heather Lane, Packington - 8am to 2.10pm
- One way - Heather Lane and Bridge Street through to Measham Road, Packington - 8am to 2.10pm
- One way - High Street, Packington - 8am to 2.10pm
Check the map below for the black arrows illustrating the direction of running, cars will not be able to drive in the direction of the run.

According to Ashby 20 organisers, 'marshals will use their discretion to allow residents in and out, always taking safety of runners and vehicles into account.'
Officially, the Temporary Traffic Order is until 5pm and roads will close and reopen in sequence to keep the closures and disruption to a minimum.
