Two Escape Unhurt In Packington Car Accident

Two people 'walked away' from a car that crashed into a ditch in Packington this morning (Wednesday).

The incident occurred in Heather Lane and fire crews from both Ashby and Coalville attended.

Police were also at the scene but an ambulance was not required.

The Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service website said: "One vehicle involved, vehicles in ditch, two persons in vehicle.

"Crews in attendance confirmed two occupants have walked away from vehicle with no injuries.

"No ambulance required. Police in attendance assisting with recovery."
